Our community walk provided a chance for us to create
learning experiences and a school environment that is culturally responsive and
relevant for the students we serve. In order for us to be successful in setting
high expectations and closing the achievement gap we must possess cultural
sensitivity and awareness and use this information to adapt pedagogical
practices so that they reflect the needs of our students.
With that in mind take some time and reflect on some of the
